Armin Meiwes Murdered And Cooked His Dinner Guest Whom Was A Willing Participant
On the night of 9 March 2001, Armin Meiwes was found dead by Bernd Brandes following his complete consent to take his body and cannibalize it. Meiwes is currently serving life behind bars for murdering Brandes.
Armin Meiwes, the third child of a domineering mom and divorced from three husbands Waltraud Meiwes. Armin was just 6 years old at the time his brothers moved away from their mother, and 8 when the father left the house in 1968.
Armin first imagined eating a person when he was just 8 years old. The psychiatric specialist later said that Meiwes suffers from schizophrenia, which he was diagnosed with as a child when he imagined a younger sister named Frank. It was only after his mother’s death from cancer that Armin Meiwes was able to become the man and cannibal one he’s always dreamed about.
Bernd Brandes, a 41-year-old software engineer working for the Siemens company for 15 years. After a string of unsettling breaking ups, Brandes finds the subculture of ‘Love Cannibalism’, and decides that he would like to be devoured by an actual cannibal. Brandes found Armin on a website known as”the Cannibal Cafe. Brandes sends messages to Armin and writes, “I am 36 years old, 175 cm and weigh 72 kg. I hope you are really serious about it because I really want it.”
On the night on March 9, 2001 Brandes informs Armin to cut off his penis during sexual sex then cook it and later feed it Brandes along with Armin. Brandes has no penis, floats between consciousness and unconsciousness due to the massive bleeding. Brandes then enjoys a hot bath, where he was “squirting like a fountain” in the bath.
They accused Armin Meiwes with murder following the incident when he inserted a kitchen knife 18 inches inside the neck of Brandes which killed him right away. Jurors watched a film of the incident and decided Armin was a murder suspect. The video that was played in the courtroom is deleted, however there are a few images (below).
