How to Make the Perfect Slice of Pizza Every Time
Do you know that delicious smell wafting through the neighborhood on Friday nights? If you love pizza, you’re probably hungry just thinking about it! But the smell of fresh pizza isn’t just a way to get the neighbors to come knocking on your door – it’s also an indicator of how perfectly cooked your pie is. One of the keys to making the perfect pizza every time lies in the type of oven you use to cook it in. The type of oven you have will have an impact on whether or not your pizza will come out properly cooked and the perfect slice every time.
Step 1: Choose your oven
We offer a variety of ovens that will accommodate any size kitchen and the perfect pie:
-Personal Mini-Pizza Oven ($69.99) – perfect for those who want to enjoy cooking at home with their family or dinner guests, but don’t want too much extra kitchen space taken up. This oven is 12 inches wide, 13 inches deep, and 17 inches high.
-Rolls Royce 20 Deluxe Wood Burning Outdoor Pizza Oven ($799.99) – who doesn’t love enjoying dinner outside? Now you can cook pizza on your patio without worrying about fire hazards or other dangers. This outdoor oven stands 20 inches tall with three doors, one on each side and one in front so it’s easy to load your favorite ingredients all at once!
Step 2: Prepare your dough
* Divide your dough into six even pieces, and let it rest for 10 minutes.
* Roll out each piece of dough and place it on a pan that has been lined with parchment paper or is silicone coated.
* Take your toppings (spices, cheese, tomato sauce) and spread them evenly over the surface of your dough before layering on additional toppings such as basil or pepperoni slices.
* Bake at 425 degrees Fahrenheit for 8-10 minutes.
Step 3: Let it rise
Now that your dough has been thoroughly kneaded, allow it time to rise. The amount of time needed will depend on how warm your environment is. If you’re in a cold place, allow it longer than you would if you’re in a warm place. When your dough has doubled in size after rising, it’s ready for the next step!
Step 4: Preheat and bake your pizza
Once you’ve mixed your dough, made your sauce, and built your pizza it’s time to get the oven ready. Preheat the oven so that it’s hot enough when you put your pizza in. We recommend preheating for about 40 minutes at 450 degrees Fahrenheit before baking each pizza. When you put the pizza in set a timer for two minutes less than what is recommended on its box. After two minutes turn off your oven but leave the pizza inside for another 5-7 minutes. This will ensure a crisp crust and cooked toppings, without overcooking any one part more than another.
Step 5: Add toppings
The final step is adding your toppings. This is a creative part, so don’t feel limited to what you see in the photo above. If there’s something you love on pizza, put it on top! It will be a shame if all that work went into cooking this incredible oven-baked pizza and you couldn’t enjoy every delicious bite of it. You can also use a grater or peeler for cheese and garlic (or other spices).
Step 6: Cut it up
You’re going to have a bunch of slices left over after you cut up your dough, so it’s time to make a pizza. The size and shape is up to you, but a round is a common option for parties. While you’re making your pizzas, put some cheese in an oven-safe pan and toast it until it gets all bubbly on top – that’ll give your pizzas an extra crispy texture that’s delicious. Put the pizzas in the oven or onto your grill until they’re cooked through – usually 7-10 minutes or so. If you want something like a Chicago deep dish pizza, bake at 425 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes before putting the toppings on. Keep checking with tongs! And now you’ve made yourself some yummy slices!
